Education
The education system serving Sanger and the surrounding area consists of pre-kindergarten through college and work force training. The quality and recognition of the schools is one of the attractions for residential growth in the area. The Sanger Independent School District (SISD) serves northern and central Denton County. Sanger Independent School District includes six schools and the district provides day car for district employees. The 2005-2006 SISD budget is $18 million. The average years of teaching experience is 10 years. Enrollment for 2005-2006 totals 2,400 students.
