Transportation Sanger is strategically located on Interstate-35 north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Texas Department of Transportation 2004 estimates for traffic count on I-35 is 55,000 south bound and 50,000 north bound. FM 455 connects Sanger to Lake Ray Roberts and communities east and west with over 7,400 traffic count at FM 455 and I-35 in 2004. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the nation’s third largest and busiest international airport, is located 37 minutes south. Dallas Love Field, one of the busiest airports providing service to cities Texas and the Southwest, is located 46 miles south. Alliance Airport, the world’s first airport designed for industrial and corporate transportation, is located 29 miles south on the I-35 corridor.
